Mencap UK provides more information about the SEND system, how to get SEN support, and about EHCPs and how to get one. Their information is clear and to the point with most of the information also available in ‘easy read’ format.
IPSEA
If you are having difficulty securing an EHCP for your child or have other legal questions surrounding SEND, you can contact IPSEA, the leading charity in the UK about SEND law. They give information and provide support and training.
