A new group for parents or carers, providing a great platform to share experiences, support each other and ask questions as our children enter adulthood. Also a club for social activities for our adult members.
Our discussions have been very active with many questions across a range of topics, including:
- The Law – Deputyship, Court of Protection
- Finance – Benefits, Bank Accounts, Trusts
- Housing – Supported living
- Further Education – Sixth form school and college, and residential college
- Speech Therapy
- Workplace Support
- Other useful groups and information
- 16+ Social events
