OxAquakids (previously Pups) swimming group is for children aged 3 and meets for a swimming lesson at 4.30-5.00pm on Tuesdays during term time at the Ormerod School (adjacent to the Roundabout Centre).  Each session costs £8.

 

The swimming club aims to help children with Down's Syndrome to:

• build confidence in the water as a complete beginner learning basic strokes
• give support to children and their parents in an educational and fun setting
• give children a headstart and enable successful integration with mainstream swimming lessons following the National Curriculum and the confidence to do something in the school setting without a Teaching Assistant or parent support
