Oxfordshire Down's Syndrome Service (ODSS)

Our service offers developmental and health checks to pre-school children with Down's Syndrome throughout Oxfordshire, from shortly after birth until care transfers to the Consultant Community Paediatrician for their area, at 3 – 4 years of age.

When does the ODSS become involved?

Our first involvement with a family may be pre-natally when we can provide information in conjunction with the pre-natal diagnostic services for parents thought to be at high risk of having a baby with Down's Syndrome.
